The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.
With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.
The Opportunity We are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to provide effective support to our Mechanical & Electrical warehouse team.
Key Accountabilities Coordinating and auditing inbound and outbound paperwork and deliveriesLiaising with drivers and inspecting loads are compliant with CORLiaising with Engineers to confirm site delivery location, date and timesAssisting with loading, unloading and moving pallets to check on deliveriesMaintaining various registers and spreadsheets About You Experience and having a strong understanding of warehouse processes and proceduresProficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookExperience using JDE desirable but not essentialStrong level of written and verbal communicationAble to work in a warehouse environmentHaving Counterbalance forklift license desirable but not essentialDemonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environmentThe successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
