About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a storeperson to join our team.
Operating out of our Cairns site, you will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for the main warehousing activities whilst delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders daily.
Your main duties will include:
Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.Picking and filling orders from stock.Packing and shipping orders.Organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse.Delivering products to customers.Providing great service to our customers at all times.Assisting with battery fittings.Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.Working harmoniously with the team to achieve maximum efficiency.Adhering to the company's policies and procedures.Adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures in place.About You To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following competencies:
Forklift Licence (Mandatory)Previous warehouse experience is preferredExcellent phone/personal customer service skillsCurrent Driver LicenceExcellent inventory and housekeeping skillsA good level of fitness is required as you will be regularly handling batteries weighing up to 25 kgStrict awareness of Health and Safety proceduresSelf-motivated and reliableIn return.. You will work with a well-established company and supportive team whilst having the opportunity to expand your skills within this industry.
