In this role you will be responsible for managing the receipt and issue of goods in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures. Working in the warehouse at our Bayswater site and store at the Refinery site, you will ensure commitment to the safety of self and others, at all times.
This is a permanent full-time position. Your role as a Storeperson will involve: Oversee procurement, storage, and issuing of goods, ensuring adherence to Inventory Management principles Manage daily stock operations including review, ordering, receipt, put-away, picking, issuing, and maintaining appropriate stock levels Conduct regular cycle counts, location verifications, and movement reviews, and raise Purchase Orders as per company policies Operate forklifts for loading/unloading vehicles, manage stock receivals, and ensure site-to-site inventory transfers with first-in first-out rotation Ensure safe storage of chemicals and dangerous goods, participate in annual stock takes, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and uphold health and safety standards Ensure that all deliveries are distributed to requester Ensure that all work is undertaken in compliance with legislative requirements and Company Policies and Procedures Avoid adversely impacting the environment through any act or omission at work and report identified environmental hazards and incidents Experience: Valid LF (forklift) High Risk Work License Demonstrated experience in a similar role Strong time management ability Enjoys working in a collaborative environment It's easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don't see yourself as the perfect fit.
