About the roleThis role requires a mo-vated Storeperson to join a friendly hardworking team. This role is for someone who is a team player and takes pride in all aspects of their work. You must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided. Award rates will be paid. Work hours will be 8.00am to 4.30pm Mon- Fri.
Main responsibili7esDu-es include, but not limited to, the following:
• Picking and packing orders in an efficient manner
• Back up delivery driver to Metro customers as directed (using a small 6 pallet truck)
• Unpacking sea containers
• Receiving and dispatching goods
• Occasional heavy liXing and manual handling
• Using computer, handheld RF scanners and opera-ng internal computer systems
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Stock put away, maintenance of bulk storage and picking bays.
To be successful in this role will need:• An enthusias-c disposi-on and strong customer service focus
• Be a problem solver and be able to work to deadlines
• Be able to take ownership and responsibility of tasks assigned
• Have a current Manual 'C' Class Licence and clean driving record (and be able to provide evidence of this)
• Have a current forkliX 'LF' Class Licence (Reach truck experience will be highly regarded) • Have demonstrated experience in a similar role• Competent verbal and wri]en English communica-on skills• To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• A demonstrated ability to work, think and act safely• Demonstrated experience with RF scanners• Speed, accuracy and a]en-on to detail• Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
• Be fully vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 Vaccine and be able to provide evidence of vaccina-on, in compliance with the WA Government Vaccina-on Mandate.
