Normet is looking for a pro-active and personable Storeperson to our welcoming and supportive team in Wetherill Park. As Storeperson you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling tasks such as accurately receipting and dispatching spare parts and other materials. What we offer: Permanent full-time position | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 5pm$35 per hour (flat rate) plus 11.5% superAnnual remuneration reviewFree onsite parkingCall back allowanceUniforms providedEmployee Assistance, Rewards & Recognition, and Years of Service ProgramsSupportive team culture and engaging work environmentTraining and professional development including access to global training programs.To shine in this position, you will need: Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external clients.2-3 years experience in Storeperson, Warehouse, or Logistics roleExperience performing receipting, dispatching, and warehouse maintenance administration using an ERP systemAbility to process purchase and sales orders efficientlyCurrent drivers and forklift licenses preferredAttention to detail with the ability to juggle competing prioritiesA positive 'can do' attitude, be self-driven and results orientedThe ability to work well in a team and unsupervisedAbility to be part of the Call Back RosterLogistics and/or Warehousing experience is desirable but not essentialFull working rights in Australia is essential.The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement. Responsibilities: Pick, pack, and dispatch all orders accurately and securelyPerform receipting, dispatching, and warehouse maintenance administration using our ERP systemEnsure correct Serial & Batch numbers are recorded in the ERP system when receipting into stockEnsure all sales and transfer orders are picked within the required timeframeEnsure inventory is presented appropriately, with stock items in good condition and contamination and corrosion freeConduct a cyclical stock take once a weekInterpreting parts manuals and drawingsNotify management of any stock discrepancies or urgent issues.Normet is a world-leading, innovative technology company that defines the future of underground operations in mining, tunnelling, and civil engineering projects helping our partners increase safety, sustainability, and productivity.
