Storeperson

We are seeking a motivated and reliable storeperson to join the team. The Storeperson will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution activities. This position requires a valid forklift license as you will be responsible for safely moving and managing goods on a counter balance forklift.There is both day and afternoon shift available for this position.Day shift commences at 6am and Afternoon shift commences at 2pm.Key Responsibilities:Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.Operate forklifts to move items in and out of storage areas, trucks, and other vehicles.Maintain inventory accuracy by performing stock counts and updating records.Receive and check incoming stock for damages, discrepancies, and proper labelling.Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate shipment.Organise and maintain the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols to minimise accidents and injuries.Key Requirements:Valid forklift license (essential) - counter balance experience.Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and heavy lifting.Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
