Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently pack and unpack export and import containers, ensuring procedures are followed to prevent damage and reduce delays.
Operate forklifts to move and handle freight safely (current forklift license required).
Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments, ensuring smooth and accurate order fulfillment.
Keep the warehouse organized and adhere to safety regulations to maintain a clean and productive environment.
Collaborate with team members and departments to streamline processes and resolve issues as they arise.
Identify and report discrepancies in shipments, helping to resolve issues before they escalate.
What You Need:
Experience in the freight industry, particularly with packing and unpacking containers (preferred).
A valid forklift license with an F endorsement for a rating of over 2.5 tonnes.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Physical capability to lift heavy objects and safely operate warehouse equipment.
MPI AP accreditation is preferred but not essential (expired accreditation may also be acceptable).
