They will be experienced working with palletised and non-palletised stock. Overhead gantry experience and advantage. For the right candidate they are willing to upskill by putting them through their Medium Rigid truck licencing. This is a great way to use your current stores experience to expand into an hybrid stores/delivery role. This will become a permanent position for the right person. This is a small but dynamic team. About the opportunity Duties: Operating warehouse/freight management systems. Manual handling Load & unload trucks using gantry crane & forklifts. Logistics planning, workflows, and operational control. Interactions with customers, empathy, and a strong commitment to Customer Service. Committed to achieve customer service excellence through a commitment to the customer and disciplined warehousing. Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager Requirements Basic Computer data base knowledge and a capacity to learn basic logistic management programs. Current Forklift Licence and experience Working knowledge of Steel and Aluminium or construction materials or the ability to learn. Current Driver's License and have a reliable transportation. Able to deal with competing priorities. Team player with an ability to work under supervision. Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, including Drug and Alcohol test.
