About The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Storeperson is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely management of the site warehouse inventory on a daily basis across out Gunnedah Open Cut sites.
This role is a permanent position, 9 day fortnight.
What You'll Do
Comply with the Health and Safety Management System and Plans, legislative requirements, and safety instructions and directions, contributing to the company goal of "zero harm"
Secure management of site inventory including parts, components and Critical spares
Day to day communication with the labour provider for yardsperson / ASG Hose Technicians
Interfacing with maintenance planners regarding staging of parts for maintenance events
Accurate and timely processing of deliveries
What You'll Bring
High Risk Forklift Certification (Required)
Qualification in supply chain management and logistics (Preferred)
Business Improvement Skills and Qualifications, e.g.
Lean Six Sigma (Preferred)
Hands on experience in a large warehouse operation with a sound understanding of all facets of inventory control
A strong level of commercial acumen and understanding
