Alfabs Mining Mackay is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Storeperson/Administrator to oversee inventory organisation and storage management, ensuring operational efficiency. The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory records and invoicing systems, while facilitating job requisitions for both internal and external customers. This is a part-time position, requiring 3 days of work per week.
Role responsibilities Conduct monthly stock takes and manage stock levels Provide administrative support to the branch manager Assist with logistics and inventory management Report on engineering stock and tool management Support onboarding processes for new hires Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills Comply with company WHS policies and procedures Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and safe work practices What we need from you Qualifications Qualifications in business, logistics, or a related field are highly regarded Current Forklift license and Driver's license Experience 1-2 years of practical experience in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, procurement, or logistics Experience operating forklifts and using inventory management systems Awareness of mining, construction, or manufacturing sectors Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comprehensive understanding of warehouse functions and procedures Analytical skills with sound judgment in inventory management Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook How to Apply: If you are ready to take the next step in your career, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience via the apply now link.
