We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor based at our Pakenham site; you will be a crucial team member within the Maintenance Team, ensuring our production and manufacturing processes are safely and effectively maintained to achieve production outcomes.
The RoleThe ideal candidate will play an integral part in the Maintenance team providing high-quality, up-to-date stores inventory and spares support to reduce unplanned downtime.
The main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Advocate to the company's relevant OH&S policies and proceduresCoordinate with external suppliers to receive a cost-effective spare part solutionUpdate and maintain purchase order register (M3 experience preferred but not essential)Maintain spares inventoryReceipt goods received and process respective admin transactionsRespond to spare parts dependent critical breakdownsEnsure workshop cleanliness is maintainedAudit fitter and electrical toolboxes, weeklyRaise, obtain approval and receipt purchase ordersWork closely with offsite vendorsAbility to step in and assist the Engineering Maintenance and Reliability Manager in all aspects of workSkills & ExperienceStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong computer skills and proficient use of the Microsoft SuiteRelevant qualifications in Engineering, trade background ideally relating to the FMCG Food industry including HACCP training/certificationForklift licence is essentialDemonstrated store experience (minimum 3 years) in a trades/engineering store is favourableExcellent time management and interpersonal skillsAbility to forward plan problem solveContractor management and experience working with production teamsWhat we offer youAt Patties Food Group, we are passionate about our people, brands, and culture!
