The Store person is responsible for warehouse and stores deliveries, adhering to inventory management process and reporting.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Be accountable for the end to end control of Cubic AssetsAssist and support inventory management processes, work instructions and standard operational procedures in accordance with the company's quality system to ensure complianceIssue and receive inventory as per operating procedures. This includes manual handling of incoming goods as required and timely data entry into Cubic warehouse asset management system of received/moved stockEnsure all equipment is properly handled, programmed, accurately accounted for physically and electronicallyTrack quantities, perform inventory cycle counts, periodic stock take, and resolve discrepancies of inventoryMonitor equipment and consumables usage and replenish when required. Ensuring major modules and consumables are available to meet delivery demandsDeliver and pick up customer equipment returns, and other items as directed using a company vehicleManage the inbound / outbound functions includes liaising with freight companies and suppliersProcess field returns from customers and install teamsAccurate Data Entry in Service Now for Inventory ControlsEnsure all parts are received in Service Now by Cubic Technicians before leaving Cubic WarehousePrepare Bus Installation kits as requestedProcess Decommissioned Assets in a timely mannerConduct Cubic vehicle audits, checks and stock takes as per Cubic's processesProcess repairs and returnsAssist with the annual audit & monthly assets reconciliation report and distribution to customerPerform daily cycle count, process workshop returns and create Contract IDs in Service NowEscalate on issues in the day-to-day operations for resolutionPerform workshop (RMA) job creation for faulty assets/stock received from the fieldMaintain a sound knowledge of WH&S and take an active part in safety issues as required, particularly in areas of manual handling and the handling/storage of hazardous materialsGeneral Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with Cubic's Quality Management SystemComply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and proceduresComply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organizationsComply with Cubic Human Resources ProceduresOther duties as requestedMinimum Job Requirements: Essential: New South Wales Class C driver's licenseDesirable: New South Wales Forklift driver's license (HRW)Qualifications or certification in warehouse operationsSkills/Experience/Knowledge: Essential: Relevant experience within a stores/warehouse environment (Grade 1: may have less than 12 months experience, Grade 2: must have at least 12 months experience)Knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) systemProficiency using Microsoft Office suite and experience in the usage any other inventory management system.Proficient in the use of the inventory management systemProficient in keyboarding, data entry and computing skillsDesirable: Demonstrated experience in inventory management, stock taking, annual audits and monthly asset reconciliation reporting.Practical experience and understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and proceduresDemonstrated understanding of bill of materials and technical drawings to identify partsPersonal Qualities: Excellent customer service, communication skills and an ability to develop working relationships with customers and suppliersStrong verbal and communication skills and an ability to escalate issues to resolutionExcellent organisational and planning skillsCapable in analysing information and preparing written reportsAttention to detail and willingness to listen to feedbackAbility to use initiative and work with limited directionAble to adapt quickly to demands and environmentDemonstrated understanding of manual handling requirementsTeam player and energeticMotivated to implement and promote positive occupational health, safety and environment outcomesCondition of Employment: Successful outcome of a National Police Check
