Position Summary Join our five-star team as a skilled and organized Store Officer, taking on a physically engaging, hands-on role from Monday to Friday (7 am to 3 pm) with responsibilities including managing goods flow, storage, and beverage requisitions while maintaining the highest standards.
Reporting to our Purchasing Manager & Assistant Purchasing Manager, this role will see you:
Maintain the exceptional standards of a five-star luxury setting, ensuring professionalism in all tasks.Receiving and ordering stock according to Capella SOP's.Maintaining par level stock for satisfaction of goods and services.Maintaining the security of stock, stock control and quality assurance.Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods with precision, managing stock control and quality. Handle beverage requisitions and print orders. Prepare beverages and deliver them to outlets.Completing internal stock transfers and stocktake of bars and restaurants.Assisting our Purchasing Manager with stocktakes.Collaborate with teams to ensure timely deliveries, resolve stock discrepancies, and handle returns or credits.Cleaning and maintaining equipment, cool rooms, freezers and storerooms.Ensuring required hygiene standards and general housekeeping in stores, and product handling are maintained.Maintaining the stores accordance with Workplace, Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.Support other departments, assist with training in Purchase Plus, and take on other tasks as directed.Ensure that storage and dock areas are kept tidy, organized, and presentable at all times. Adhere the First In, First Out (FIFO) system for inventory management.Immediately report incidents or issues to the Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager. Talent Profile Be able to work early starts Monday to Friday 7 am-3 pm.Good level of physical fitness as this is a hands-on role.Must have high level of attention to detail and accuracy.Solid computer skills and intermediate excel skills.Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.Experiences in similar role in luxury hotels/resorts.Understanding of HACCP procedures and WHS guidelines, particularly around manual handling.Personable character with a passion to build strong guest relations.Good command in written and spoken English.Valid working rights in Australia.
