A great opportunity for a Storeperson to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Puckapunyal VIC north of Melbourne .
As a Storeperson you will be responsible for conducting stores tasks, including account management and stocktakes . Reporting to the Site Leader, you will assist with the effective and efficient delivery and control of stores and equipment, with a focus on increasing productivity for the Sites maintenance function.

• Unload goods and check them against order forms
• Catalogue or label items with storage details
• Place goods in bins and on racks, or stack bulky items on floors
• Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
• Package and send out completed orders to customers
• Move heavy packages using forklift machinery
• Obtain details of the location and quantity of items in stock, using visual display units or computers
• Enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices into computers
About you
• Demonstrated experience in stores accounting or commercial equivalent
• Exceptional customer service experience
• Forklift license essential
• Driver's License essential
• Possess a current State open drivers license for Medium Rigid ("MR") classes of vehicles
• Good communication, problem solving, writing and analysis skills
• Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft and Defence systems desirable
• Relevant professional qualifications are desirable
• You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
