Our aim is to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people in Australia especially those affected by bushfire, flood and other disasters.About the roleThe Store Manager is responsible for driving sales to achieve targets by providing clear direction and fostering an engaged workforce. Working in conjunction with the area manager, you will proactively develop, drive and support local and national marketing campaigns and promotional activity within the store e.g. VIP events. On a day-to-day basis, you will lead, maintain and actively work to ensure strong relationships in a team of staff and volunteers through ongoing coaching and support.What you will bringDemonstrated experience in successfully managing a retail shop (preferably fashion and/or recycled goods related)Proven ability to deliver revenue and net profit objectives through managing othersStaff and/or Volunteer management experience highly regardedSound presentation and visual merchandising skills in line with current trendsStrong sales and customer service acumenBenefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
