Job Description:
As the Store Manager, you will be driving sales and overseeing the daily operations of our store, specialising in rugs, carpets, flooring, window furnishings and homewares. This full-time role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for home décor and a track record of achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, managing a dedicated team and ensuring that the store meets its financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of sales assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and guiding customers in selecting products that meet their needs.Sales & Revenue: Drive sales and achieve revenue targets by implementing effective sales strategies, analysing sales data and identifying opportunities for growth.Visual Merchandising: Oversee the store's visual presentation, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company standards.Operations: Manage day-to-day store operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and maintaining an attractive and organised store environment.Training & Development: Train new staff members, provide ongoing coaching, and ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about our product range and sales techniques.Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Qualifications: Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in the homewares, window furnishings, rugs, carpets, or flooring sectors.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance and results.Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on creating a positive shopping experience.Solid understanding of sales and merchandising techniques, along with the ability to analyse and act on sales data.Business and financial acumen, previous experience with owning store P&Ls is a bonus.Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.A passion for interior design or flooring industry and an eye for home decor trends.What We Offer: Competitive base salary and store profit share.Opportunities for career advancement within a growing company.Comprehensive training and professional development programs.Employee discounts on a wide range of products.A supportive and collaborative work environment.How to Apply:
