Store Manager

HANDS is a lifestyle design and gift store dedicated to curating the best of design from local and international makers, artists and independent brands.
Founded in 2022, we are a locally-owned and small retail store bringing forth a new concept store to Sydney for quality homewares, playful accessories, and meaningful gifts.
We're now seeking a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager for our Hands at both Newtown and Paddington locations. This is an exciting opportunity for both seasoned Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers. The responsibilities include:
Providing strong leadership to the store team, including recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management. Overseeing all aspects of store management, from housekeeping and inventory control to visual merchandising. Identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive higher conversion. Ensuring effective two-way communication to keep the team engaged and knowledgeable. To be successful, you will have: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coach and develop staff. Previous experience leading a team to drive business outcomes. Strong relationship skills and ability to maintain long-term client relationships. A can-do attitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Pay: $30.00 – $36.76 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 38 per week
