We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager to join our Launceston Store in a Permanent Full Time position. As the Store Manager you will be: Responsible for ensuring the Launceston store operates safely and effectively at all timesDelivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goodsUsing Pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handlingMaintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.In order to be considered you will have: A strong Customer Service background in a store environment- hospitality, retail or similarDemonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operationsSound working knowledge of safety management and improvementAn Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlinesStrong skills in people management and customer engagementThis is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paintWe are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience.Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs
