About the role With iconic brands such as Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars to our name, our Liquor team is well on its way to being Australia's favourite drinks retailer.
We serve up everything from premium wines and craft beers to spirits from local distilleries.
We're also growing every day, so it's an exciting time to join us.
Managing our online Coles Liquor fulfilment centre, you'll be working in a unique "dark store" environment - a fulfilment centre with a primary focus on processing and delivering online orders.
(Note: This role does not involve face-to-face customer interaction).
Your focus will be to achieve key online and commercial targets by participating in growth initiatives, team management, and site operations.
You'll take pride in contributing to the customer fulfilment journey.
From the availability of products to the pick, pack, and dispatch of customer orders, this is an excellent opportunity to take your retail and warehousing leadership experience to the next level.
About you and your skills Previous management experience in a warehouse, logistics, online fulfilment centre or similar fast-paced, distribution-focused environment Retail experience is not required, but a background in managing operations in a warehouse or logistics setting is essential for this role Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, effective cost control, and managing team rosters Proven experience in leading and coaching team members to develop their skills while meeting financial and service goals Ability to ensure all team members work safely, and any safety concerns or breaches are addressed immediately A current accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification You may be required to undergo a Police Check if successful in the recruitment process, a cost that you'll be responsible for upfront but will be reimbursed upon successful placement.
