THE COMPANY:
Our client is an independent cinema chain that showcases both arthouse and mainstream films. They're looking for a skilled, passionate Graphic Designer/Video Editor with a deep love for film and visual storytelling to join their creative team.
THE ROLE:
With a strong background in design, video editing, and motion graphics, your main responsibilities will include:

Developing Motion Graphics and Visual Effects: From concept to final delivery, create original motion graphics, visual effects, and animations for a range of projects across cinema, broadcast, digital, and social media.
Editing Video and Audio Content: Transform raw footage into polished, captivating material suitable for big screens, digital platforms, and social campaigns.
Collaborating on Creative Content: Work with creative teams to produce visually compelling marketing materials and digital assets that strengthen brand identity. Enhance static assets with motion and animation for a cohesive brand experience.
Creating Marketing Materials: Develop layouts, typography, logos, and imagery for print, digital, and social media assets, ensuring they align with the brand's visual identity.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, copywriters, and project managers to ensure all assets meet creative briefs, brand guidelines, and timelines.
Managing Final Assets: Format, organise, and archive all final assets for easy handover to internal teams or clients.
Technical Oversight: Handle video and motion content's technical aspects, such as resolution, frame rates, and file formats, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
YOU:
The ideal candidate should have:

A tertiary qualification in Design, Visual Communications, Film Production, Animation, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in motion design, video editing, and graphic design, preferably in an agency, studio, or in-house creative team.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign.
Knowledge of motion design principles, video editing workflows, and audio editing and sound design for video projects.
Strong visual design skills with attention to detail in composition, typography, and colour, along with the ability to translate ideas into engaging visual stories across animation, video, or graphic design.
