Responsibilities Job purpose:
Due to ongoing growth, we're searching for a motivated, hungry, and passionate individual to join our team.
Experience in CFDs and FX is preferable but not essential (new graduates will be considered).
As a critical part of our customer experience team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our new clients working in collaboration with our Client facing, Dealing, Marketing, Research, and Global payment team.
Primary duties will include:
Business Development
Develop and initiate the business development strategy to grow the retail, sophisticated investor, and Wholesale Investor trading volumes for different client bases.
Proactively enhance business through client referrals, networking, workshops/seminars, and industry contacts.
Provide seminars and attend sales events for premium clients/prospects as required.
This might include creating appropriate material in conjunction with education and marketing.
Work with the rest of the client-facing team to input and help drive the acquisition, retention, and increased trading activity for all clients.
Sales process, planning, execution
Actively leverages sales process to increase conversion rate, decrease sales cycle, and improve deal win rate.
Maintains an accurate pipeline and funnel with high integrity.
Maintains a set of personal goals and metrics, tracking progress against those.
Maintains a calendar blocking, scheduling time to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
General Duties
Being part of a team based in Sydney dedicated to handling all aspects of the customer onboarding experience.
Facilitate the outbound opening of new accounts for potential clients who have already indicated an interest in our platform and provide support for existing customers.
Handle incoming sales inquiries and client issues via phone, email, and live, interactive chats.
No cold calling is involved; the job is heavily centered on engaging warm leads via outbound call campaigns, and the vast majority of the day will be spent speaking to clients over the phone in a fast-paced workplace environment.
Provide support for existing customers with all aspects of the trading experience - funding their account, education, etc.
Encourage and support referrals from existing clients.
Qualifications To land this role you will need:
Proven track record in B2C/B2B sales and business development.
Passionate about sales and delivering the highest possible service to customers.
Creative problem solver, professional, honest, and a good team player.
Ability to learn complex products quickly.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Proactive, KPI-driven representative, able to manage your client base but driven to source new relationships on your own accord.
Self-motivated and likes working toward targets.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a "service" mindset to support our customers in the demanding, real-time environment of active trading.
Commitment to continuous improvement.
Bilingual (Chinese).
Remuneration
The compensation package includes a competitive mix of base, commissions, super, and business development bonuses with uncapped income potential.
Anticipated on-target earnings range from $80k to $120k, with no upper limit.
