Business Development Manager - International Freight Forwarding Are you ready for a new challenge? Seeking motivated Business Development Managers to choose from a selection of Business Development/Sales roles located in Mascot, Botany, Alexandria, Moorebank, Hurstville, and Sylvania Waters.
Only candidates with sales experience within the International Forwarding industry will be considered!
It's your sales experience and the ability to adapt quickly that will win you this role.
The opportunities range from local Brokerage/Forwarders to leading Multinational International Freight Forwarders.
Role Requirements: Your sales approach is consultative in nature, seeking to nurture and understand how business can add value to clients and prospects alike. You have an ability to work inclusively with internal operations to achieve results for both customer and company.
Seeking individuals: To take responsibility for their performance. Who are looking for career development and growth. Are able to manage their time productively in researching, growing and maintaining a healthy pipeline and proactive in all forms of meetings, both internal and client-facing or online. With an ability to market research and develop prospects based on company strategic intent. You present professionally and with personality. You welcome the opportunity to contribute with both sales and ideas in growing the business. You understand why and how important it is to maintain notes and software. You have experience in International Freight movements by air/ocean. Job Description: Reporting to the Management team, you will be required to build a dynamic set of growth opportunities. Your strong experience in the International Freight Forwarding sector will ensure you have the depth of knowledge to develop and take ownership of your pipeline. You will be accustomed to the processes of generating new business opportunities, leads, and accounts, as well as maintaining targeted growth and development of the client portfolio. You will endeavour to achieve targets and KPIs set to achieve the results sought.
Skills and Attributes: The successful applicant: Possesses high-level communication skills. Currently employed in a Business Development capacity within the International Freight Forwarding Sector or similar. Ability to build strong relationships. Responsible for planning and carrying out direct sales activities to attain new accounts, prospecting, and developing a pipeline. Disciplined in providing sales reports as requested.
