About Us:
Sandalwood Feedlot is owned by Korean retail giant LOTTE and is a leading producer of high quality Wagyu beef for supply to LOTTE's retail businesses and other customers throughout the world. LOTTE's Sandalwood Feedlot is a 16,000 head operation, run in conjunction with a 1,514 hectare grazing and farming operation. The business is located 20km east of Dalby or less than an hour's drive from Toowoomba.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Stockperson. As a leading producer of high quality Wagyu beef and custom feeding facilities, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about developing their career in the Australian beef industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pen riding duties, including identifying and treating livestock
- Cattle handling, including drafting, receiving and trucking cattle
- Ensure the health and welfare of animals by following proper protocols
- Horse husbandry and stable maintenance
Skills:
- Willingness to learn and enthusiasm to develop a career within the Australian beef industry
- Strong commitment to animal health and welfare standards
- Previous experience in cattle handling preferred
- Experience in riding & handling horses preferred
- Reliable with strong motivation
