STM Trucks & Machinery (Daimler Trucks South Coast) is now the authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz & Freightliner Trucks, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our growing Unanderra branch. The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.
Your duties will include, but are not limited, to the following: Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent) Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills Ability to work within a team environment Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions Accurately complete job service reports & paperwork Commitment to safe work practices Commitment to long term employment and its opportunities Completion OEM technical training programs Excellent time management skills Current NSW driver's licence Strong work ethics, punctuality and reliability Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicles Ability to work offsite if and when required Ability to work overtime & Saturdays, as required Own tools (specialised tooling provided) Team player with commitment to our values, policies and procedures In return we offer: Competitive remuneration with overtime available Laundered work uniforms Technical training and career development Great team environment Please include answers to the following questions:
