About the role Manor Meals are seeking an experienced Head Chef who will be responsible for the kitchen, administering all phases of the kitchen operation ensuring that the kitchen is run to the expected operational and financial standards.
You will be responsible for providing a product that aims to exceed our client expectations while upholding the Manor Meals style and ethos.
This role is based at our Somerville kitchen.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Trae qualification of Certificate III in Commercial cookery or relevant comparative industry experience in a Chef role Demonstrated experience in food preparation, menu planning and budgeting Knowledge of nutritional and healthy eating dietary requirements Knowledge and understanding of the Food safety Act, Regulatory Compliance legislation, and Occupational Health & safety requirements with a Safe Food handling Certificate Demonstrated experience in volume control, stock ordering and adherence to relevant legislation Demonstrated experience in scheduling cooking and menu planning, cost analysis, special dietary preparation and nutritionally balanced meals Ability to provide on-the-job training and guidance to other employees Employee benefits Focus on work-life balance including flexible working arrangements Supportive team environment Training and professional development opportunities How to apply If you are looking to join an organisation that makes a difference, apply today.
