The Patient Transport Service at St John WA is a varied service with specialised Transport Officers that respond to non-emergency patients transports via pre-booked and on-demand calls. St John WA work with the public and private sectors, partnering with local hospitals, medical centres and care facilities, as well as the general public.
St John WA provide a reliable, professional service offering a full range of transport options in a variety of fleet vehicles for non-ambulant passengers with low acuity medical requirements. In the role of Ambulance Transport Officer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of people and health care scenarios.
The Opportunity We currently have a number of Permanent Full-Time opportunities available to join the team as an Ambulance Transport Officer based throughout the Perth Metropolitan Area. This role requires compassion, patient focus and a sense of community spirit while you deliver routine care and transportation for non-emergency patients to and from healthcare facilities, clinics and private residences. Hours of work and roster cycles vary depended on operational needs.

The skills, attributes and experiences required: Hold a 'C' or 'CA' class driver's licence at time of application with no restrictions (probationary drivers will not be accepted) Demonstrate a good driving history with no more than six (6) demerit points at time of application or any serious convictions or loss of licence within the last four years Successful candidates will be required to lift up to 40KG in the course of their duties.
