Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risks, and driving strategic decision-making.This role will also work in tandem with cross-functional teams to enhance the financial health and operational efficiency of STH Group. You will partner with the Head of Finance - Australia and collaborate closely with the Group Finance Director to ensure that the financial outcomes, forecasts, cash positions, and other critical financial data for the Sydney office are accurately reflected in STH Australia's overall financial position.ABOUT YOU:Qualified Accountant: ACCA or CIMA certified, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in overseeing financial operations, including the preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, and GST returns.Financial Management Experience: Comprehensive experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.Regulatory Compliance: Strong proficiency in managing compliance with financial regulations and handling GST returns.Advanced Accounting Skills: In-depth knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SAP, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strategic Financial Planning: Proven ability to contribute to strategic planning with a focus on identifying and mitigating financial risks.Leadership in Financial Operations: Proven track record of effective team leadership and cross-functional collaboration in a multi-office environment.Sports and Events: A passion for sport, rugby, travel and events would be beneficial but is not essential.This is an incredible opportunity to utilise your experience in financial management and reporting whilst working on a major global sporting event in Australia!APPLICATIONS CLOSE - Monday 16th September 2024
