At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, we are looking for an experienced Steward - Team Leader to join our team.
Your day to day Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will support the Food and Beverage operation of the Resort by:
Supervising and training the stewarding department colleagues whilst on shift.Maintaining the consumption of all stewarding chemicals whilst on shift.Supervising the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, as well as the quality level of product and services, to ensure brand standards and HACCP requirements are maintained.Ensuring that all stewarding colleagues follow safety instructions whilst cleaning machinery.Conducting regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned.Attending any required meetings to ensure communication and positive culture flows to all Stewarding colleagues.What we need from you Demonstrated communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees and third parties that reflect the high standard of the hotel and the IHG brand.Time management skills, delegation, a drive for results, and strong employee engagement skills.Neat personal presentation.Able to read and write basic English.Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.What we offer Join our extraordinary world and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.
