About The Role We require a Sterilisation Technician to join our dynamic Central Sterilizing Services Department. CSSD works closely with Theatre staff to supply high-quality equipment for the daily running of our theatres. Primary responsibilities include washing, packing, and sterilisation of all theatre instruments, including those for our ward and outside clients, while following all standards associated with the role.

Minimum Certificate III in Sterilisation Practices or willingness to undertake study to achieve this level qualification.Hands-on ability to apply infection control principles, manage wastes, and biohazards as it relates to the role.Availability, flexibility, and willingness to work shift duties in all reprocessing areas, on a rotating roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and on-calls after a qualifying period.Adaptability to reasonable changes and actively support the department's Quality Management Systems and activities.
