The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Steel Fabrication or a similar background, be organised, motivated, detail-oriented, and self-driven. We are offering a competitive salary, along with an outstanding benefits package. About the Position Responsibilities will include:
Review and evaluate cost estimates Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects Prepare estimates in detail for all products Ensure timely completion of estimates and ensure closing dates are met Understand scope of work to bid Carry out site inspections within Bluescope and other major businesses Manage bid pricing from all vendors Prepare cost analysis Liaise with clients, and maintain a professional and open relationship with clients throughout all aspects of the estimating process About You To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Mechanical or Structural Background Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email, Xero or similar High level of interpersonal and communication skills Methodical approach including good time management, detail-oriented, and organisational skills Your application will include the following questions:
