About the Role: Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will be an integral team member of the Steel Fabrication Workshop. Standard 38-hour week plus opportunity for overtime if required. Monday to Friday: Start 7.00, finish 3.30pm with 1.00pm finish on Friday's! You will be surrounded by a supportive and friendly team, everyone pulling together to achieve a common goal. Duties include: Complete fabrication tasks as assigned, completed to drawings and specification.Complete final quality inspection on each job pertinent to the Steel Fabrication work centre (post job completion).Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times and ensure all duties are carried out in a safe and orderly manner. All PPE and applicable clothing will be provided.Follow all relevant Quality Assurance and Work Instructions according to Company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001).In conjunction with the Quality Assurance Officer, batch test and record completed products for correct welding applications.Assist in continuous improvement via the Opportunity For Improvement process.Skillset Requirements: Sound understanding, and interpretation of welding/fabrication processes to deliver as per Australian standards.Ability to manage workloads effectively and adhere to timeframes.Confident professional manner- self driven and enthusiastic.Self-motivated, reliable, and hard working with good work ethics.Safety knowledge and awareness.Remuneration negotiable depending on experience and suitability, with training and development opportunities within a supportive environment which rewards and recognises excellent work.
