About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Steel Fabrication Estimator to join our team.
This role works within the Sales team and plays a key role in achieving financial targets and growth and improving Bendpro's position in the market.
This role is primarily responsible for estimating/quoting on new and existing work for customers in a timely and professional manner.
Key duties for this role include:
• Demonstrating the ability to understand the Bendpro offering and how this can support potential customers.
• Provides quotations for customers and prospects.
• Proactively builds and maintains effective business relationships with new and existing customers driving new business and growth.
• Follows up quotes systematically.
• Provides customer drawings and details to the Workshop Foreman and completes jobs docs when required.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Have previous experience estimating and quoting steel fabrication projects.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Previous CRM experience.
• Have excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Have problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Be professional with colleagues and customers.
• Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent listening skills.
• Have great attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.
• Be willing to undergo a medical including drug and alcohol test.
• A trade qualification will be highly regarded but is not essential.
