Our client is a well-established fabrication company specialising in steel frame production and solutions. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking an Estimator to join their experienced project team. This role will not only provide you with an opportunity to further develop your estimating experience with a market leader but also provide some great exposure to project coordination.
Your role will involve estimating a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Ideally you will have:

Experience in preparing detailed and accurate estimates for construction projects
Knowledge of general construction processes, including roof truss and wall frame construction
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
University or TAFE training in residential or commercial drafting is a significant advantage
Eagerness to contribute to our design and engineering team's ongoing success
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Develop your skills by preparing precise quotations and mark-ups for projects
Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation and overall document control for allocated projects
Review project plans and specifications to understand project requirements thoroughly
Reviewing and assessing cost estimates
Ensuring that all proposals comply with project-specific tender requirements and are submitted by the due date
