The Role The ABC Statewide Mornings program is searching for a highly motivated program maker to produce and present digital stories across regional Victoria.
You'll be comfortable behind a microphone and have the tenacity to keep calling until you have the stories you need to light up the audience.
The Gippsland-based role is all about creating radio, social and digital content that generates loads of engagement.
Our team is a diverse bunch of creative content makers amplifying stories from across regional Victoria.

The Job Under general direction of the Deputy Regional Editor and in collaboration with colleagues, create content for multiple platforms for local and national audiences.
Prepare and present distinctive and compelling content that reflects and engages local audiences.
Generate stories that are relevant to a broad section of Australians and reflect the cultural, geographic and socio-economic diversity of the country.
Actively engage in community activities on national projects, with support of the audience content and community partnerships teams.
About You You'll have a history of developing contacts and breaking news.
As a self-starter you will have:
Program making and presentation skills with a proven ability to develop and make original and engaging audio and cross-platform content for the target audience.
Detailed understanding of the issues that affect and interest the local audience.
Ability to analyse information and exercise judgement.
Ability to use all software and hardware relevant to this role, as well as being aware of emerging technologies.
Experience working as an integral member of a small team in a deadline-driven environment.
