The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Underwriting Manager to join our Elders Insurance Team in Perth.
You will provide underwriting and technical support, assisting in the development and management of a profitable business portfolio under the specified insurance class according to the Company's guidelines and delegated authorities.
Your new role: In this role, you will shoulder leadership responsibilities in managing and retaining our regional renewal portfolio.
You will also be responsible for leading a team of Underwriters, upholding underwriting guidelines, authority levels, and service standards while acting as a strategic business partner for the Elders Insurance Agency Network.
Your responsibilities will include: Assuming a leadership role in the meticulous management and retention of our package portfolio, ensuring strict adherence to established underwriting guidelines, authority levels, and service standards.Establishing and maintaining strategic business partnerships within the Elders Insurance Agency Network, contributing proactively to the network's overarching success.Leading and inspiring a team of Underwriters, fostering a culture of excellence and aligning team actions with the QBE DNA.About you To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience:
