Is this the role for you? As the State Sales Manager (VIC, SA, WA), you will provide guidance, coaching, and sales support to your sales team to achieve the sales and growth targets within their portfolios.
This is a senior Sales leadership role for a professional individual who seeks to consolidate their career. You will be responsible for achieving, managing and coordinating all activities by maximising sales, achieving sales targets and improving market share. You will be an advocate for Ricoh and our customers (existing and new), ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction is developed and maintained.
The primary objective of this position will be to drive the sales growth of the business directly, via your sales team and in collaboration with various Ricoh sales teams.
Key responsibilities include: Collaborate with senior management to define the regional strategy and sales initiatives aligned with the organisation's overall goals. Identify opportunities for improved customer engagement through the adoption of digital technologies and sales techniques. Develop and implement an ongoing strategic regional business plan that supports the retention and expansion of the company's customer base, ensuring our strong market presence. Lead and manage a diverse team of Sales professionals, focusing the team on customer outcomes, sales activities and knowledge growth. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, empowering team members to contribute their expertise and insights. Achieve sales revenue and margin targets by successfully managing the sales team. To be successful in this role: 5+ years sales leadership experience. Successful achievement of sales targets and strong desire to over-achieve. Track record of business/account plan development and execution. Experience in handling both business and technical decision makers in customer organisations. Ability to lead and support both hunting and farming models. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor sales teams. What we give back to you?
