We are committed to designing, creating, and supplying the highest quality, beautiful and sustainable floor coverings.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a State Sales Manager to join Godfrey Hirst and lead the Victorian and Tasmanian hard flooring team. You will be reporting directly to the National Sales Manager and will have 2 direct reports. The role is based in Laverton.Your key responsibilities include:Managing a dedicated state sales team, representing a diverse brand portfolio including Hybrid, Timber, Vinyl Plank and Laminate Flooring.Setting team budgets and KPI's and ensuring the team meets the sales budgets.Providing regular reviews on short, medium and long-term forecasts of your regions' hard flooring sales.Developing markets for Godfrey Hirst residential hard floor products in the region.Supporting the Hard Flooring Specialists in their respective Territories.Visiting key retailers and assisting with resolving strategic or complicated issues.Oversee and analyse sales methods, key customer strategies and arrangements for the Department.Preparing and delivering product training and information sessions to Godfrey Hirst customers and residential sales personnel.About the Successful CandidateWe are looking for an experienced professional who can manage multiple customers and retailers. The ideal candidate should be personable, have a strong customer service focus, a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships, and a history of achieving sales targets.Previous state or regional management experience.Previous preparation and implementation of budget forecast sales and budget plans.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, to drive performance through coaching and mentorship.Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact at a strategic level.This is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to build and lead our business, backed by a successful and thriving business both locally and globally.About the Next StepAn attractive salary package including vehicle and incentive scheme is on offer (based on experience).A world of opportunities awaits.
