State Operations Manager - NSW | TyrecycleAre you a seasoned leader with previous experience in a heavy industrial environment, and have a passion for driving operational excellence?
We are seeking a State Operations Manager to lead and manage our two NSW plant operations in Erskine Park and Newcastle, ensuring that production targets are safely and efficiently achieved.
In this role, you will be a visible leader, driving cultural change, operational improvements, and employee engagement while meeting financial targets.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety systems and regulations.Implement long-term business strategies and drive continuous improvement across state operations.Oversee cost-effective procurement and plant performance, focusing on efficiency and quality.Introduce and maintain Lean Manufacturing practices to optimise processes and productivity.Lead and develop teams through effective people management and communication.Ensure all staff training is current and manage compliance with environmental and safety licenses.Skills and Experience: Proven experience in multi-site heavy industrial production environment.Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on driving and leading change.Ability to solve problems creatively and manage complexity with limited resources.Lean Manufacturing experience.Solid background in safety management and operational cost control.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Commitment to producing quality products and continuously improving processes.Who we are: Tyrecycle is ResourceCo's tyre recycling business and proudly, Australia's leading tyre recycler.
