Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced State Operations Manager to oversee and manage our Electronics division within Victoria.
This role is essential in ensuring the successful delivery of electronic security projects, maintaining operational efficiency and driving profitability across the division.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage state operations, overseeing service coordinators and technicians. Ensure high standards in operations, quality and safety are maintained. Drive productivity, quality and compliance with current regulations. Manage stock levels, job workflow in SimPro and conduct toolbox meetings. Evaluate and develop service technicians through training and performance reviews. Support technicians and clients remotely, managing minor works and service quotes. Collaborate with the sales team and assist with smaller projects. Identify emerging technologies and potential solutions to enhance team performance. Actively manage contractors and build new relationships to meet project demands. Skills & Experience Required: 5-7 years of senior management experience in the electronic security industry. Strong knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control). Proven leadership with experience managing cross-functional teams and projects. Strong financial and budget management, along with operational process improvement. High proficiency in MS Office and experience in contract management. Excellent people management, negotiation and communication skills. Ability to influence and drive results, ensuring compliance with regulations (OH&S, ISO standards, security licensing).
