In 2024, IGEM developed the Assurance and Continuous Improvement Priorities 2025-2029 which will guide our work over the next five years. The priorities are:
Community preparedness Training and exercising Recovery Managing consequences. In 2025 IGEM will focus on community preparedness and training and exercising.

About the Role: Reporting to the Director, Office of the IGEM (Deputy Inspector-General), the Manager Evaluation and Review (Program Lead) leads a team to plan and conduct evaluations and reviews to assess the capacity, capability and performance of the emergency management sector against intended community-focused outcomes and leading practice.
Leading the planning and conduct of system-wide evaluations and reviews of emergency management sector capacity, capability and performance in support of sustainable improvement Managing complex data collection, collation and analysis as part of the evaluation and review program through a range of methodologies, including literature reviews, surveys, meetings and interviews Managing the conduct of environmental scanning and targeted research and provide expert strategic advice on leading practice within the emergency management sector in relation to a given topic of evaluation and review About you This role is ideal for someone with:
Demonstrated experience in leading the planning and conduct of high-level evaluation and review Demonstrated ability to manage high-performing teams Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the emergency management sector.
