As our highly valued State Manager based in Melbourne, your role will be supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.
You form part of the Branch Management Team, working alongside other State Managers, the Branch Operations Manager, Sales enablement, and Channel performance managers.

You will do this by advocating and championing a strong culture within your team.You are accountable for the day-to-day operations of your team.You are responsible for all aspects of people management of your team.Your key measures of success are sales performance, team engagement, turnover, absenteeism, and customer satisfaction.Business Development & Implementation Develop tools and processes to successfully execute your business development strategy for the state.Key deliverables would be to grow new to bank customers and execution of sales campaigns.Develop and implement initiatives to embed best practice in sales and people leadership nationally.Stakeholder Management You will work closely with key Sales leaders and other leaders across the business to drive outcomes for our customers; whilst your focus will remain within the Branch channel you will build and maintain close relationships across the business and within the other channels.To succeed in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the financial services sector.Demonstrated management experience of 5 Years +.Demonstrate a base level understanding of the broker channel.Exposure to commercial and SME lending markets preferred.Sound knowledge of financial services Codes and Acts (e.g. CCC, Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, Financial Services Reform Act).Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with a strong ability to network and build effective relationships both internally and externally.
