About the Role:
Reporting to the Logistics Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will:
Ensure container availability to meet forecasted cargo demand and inform Assistant Logistics Manager of any equipment shortagesMonitor depot performance including turn times, equipment repairs and idle containersProvide management of general administration and reporting functions undertaken by the logistics controllerProvide daily management of depots by monitoring available stock versus bookingsEnsure the Equipment Management System accurately reflects the status and location of containersEnsure adherence to all policies and proceduresTo be successful in this role, you will need: Tertiary qualification in relevant fieldAt least 1-year previous experience in the Logistics industryGood computer skills with excellent understanding of ExcelExcellent analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitudeStrong organisational and administration skillsTo apply for this role, you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident and currently live in Australia.
