State Lead VIC/TASWestpac Banking Corporation Melbourne, AustraliaJob DescriptionPermanent roleMelbourne CBD, Victoria basedRole will require travel.How will I help?The Residential Mortgage Broker business is a key acquisition channel for the introduction of new to bank home loan customers for Westpac Group, to assist with delivering on growth aspirations for Residential Lending.This role is to deliver to the settlements, broker experience and NPS targets through strong market activation, sales leadership, visible market presence and an engaged and capable team.Key Responsibilities Include:Leading and coaching a state-based distribution team of Business Development Managers who manage a large portfolio of residential broker relationships.Develop and implement appropriate activation tactics for the team to maximise business opportunity in a one to one, one to a group and one to many channel.Work with Business Development Managers, Brokers and Aggregators as a point of escalation and issue resolution.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key aggregators and top brokers/groups in the residential lending space to drive new business.Role modelling superior customer service and risk management, and effectively handle, escalate and follow-up customer compliments, issues and complaints.What do I need?Extensive sales leadership experience.Strong people leadership skills (must have existing people leadership experience).Strategic thinking.Credit risk management knowledge.Demonstrated relationship management skills.Business or Retail banking experience required.How do I apply?Start here.
