Role This is a full-time ES position (38 hours per week).
The starting salary range will be between $56,019 and $71,742, with nearly all school vacation periods being paid leave.
The Student Administration Officer is an integral part of school operations, and includes:
Front office reception duties, greeting visitors and supporting school staff and families.
Responding to phone queries and communicating messages in a clear and timely manner.
Attendance administration, ensuring that attendance and absence reasons are processed accurately.
Enrolments administration, managing enrolment-related communications and processing enrolment applications.
Assisting with First Aid when required.
A strong capacity to research, interpret and apply relevant Department policies relating to enrolments, placements, attendance and First Aid is essential.
Knowledge of the student admin systems Compass and CASES21 is highly desirable.
Responsibilities An education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction.
Administration/Operations work at this range may include:
Performing routine administrative or operational tasks.
Supporting financial and budgetary processes.
Conducting induction processes for school visitors.
Undertaking systems processing work such as data entry and reports.
