This role delivers therapeutic and casework services while fostering cultural competence, particularly in engaging with Aboriginal communities. This is an identified role; therefore, applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identification as being an Aboriginal person and being accepted in the local community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 with knowledge and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Applicants require a relevant qualification and experience, noting that this role is a multi-level role that does have an education and development pathway.
