Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

Reporting to the Requirements Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
Developing and implementing the organisation's Requirements Management Framework within DOORS Next. Reviewing changes proposed from internal stakeholders and delivery contractors, and designing and implementing changes to requirements schema information in DOORS Next and the Requirements Management Framework. Providing administration and subject matter expertise in the application of DOORS Next requirements management system, performing setup and access of the application tool, and developing associated work instructions, procedures, guidance, training materials and requirements related dashboard metrics and reports. Providing initial application technical support and being the primary point of contact to the vendor for raising and tracking resolution of technical issues relating to DOORS Next as required. Providing requirements analysis, requirement impact analysis, requirements traceability and requirements implementation as part of requirements change management throughout the project lifecycle whilst interfacing with IBM Engineering Workflow Management. Providing publication of formal requirements specification documentation and release management for requirements related configuration items managed in DOORS Next requirements management system. Building effective relationships with stakeholders to resolve complex issues through consultation and negotiation to align with project and program objectives, and representing the team confidently in external forums. This is a permanent, full-time role. You will work in a hybrid work model with access to a range of flexible working arrangements.
Minimum Requirements Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Substantial experience in establishing, administering and utilising IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next application for requirements engineering and verification and validation activities throughout the engineering project lifecycle.
Extensive experience in using IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization Publishing application or Rational Publishing Engine to configure and publish requirements specification documentation.
Significant experience in eliciting, capturing and establishing integrated hierarchical requirements relationships from stakeholder level and decomposition through system, sub-system and lower-level requirements, and developing requirement schemas and requirement management frameworks.
Experience in the configuration management of requirements utilising a requirements management database within a project environment.
Experience in interfacing between DOORS Next application and Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel and Word.
A recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science or a cognate discipline.
