Work with a friendly team of Rangers in the Echuca area providing on ground services to help the community connect with nature Be part of the team protecting environmental and cultural values in a diverse range of parks and reserves Enjoy a range of benefits including Cultural Leave and joining our Aboriginal Staff Network About the role As the Ranger (Field Services), you will deliver in park services including maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities; and the field delivery of environmental projects. You will undertake Fire and Emergency response activities in accordance with requirements and level of training. You will be accountable for personal performance and demonstrate a strong personal work ethic. You will actively participate in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the team. You will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements in order to ensure superior park management services are achieved at all times.
We're looking for someone with: A collaborative approach who'll work well with the team to achieve our organisational goals. An understanding and practical experience working with plant, chainsaw, machinery operation, small equipment and tools. Demonstrated skills in the maintenance and construction of a range of park facilities, including, signs, campgrounds, fences and walking tracks. Trade related skills.
