About the Business Unit: Hopkins Correctional Centre is a medium-security men's prison located in Ararat, Victoria. The prison's primary purpose is to prepare male prisoners for transition, reintegration, and release.
About the Role: Reporting to the Justice Officer Team Leader, the Justice Officer - Business Support role provides accurate and timely administrative and support services to Hopkins Correctional Centre and staff. Some of your duties will include:
Providing administrative support and client services relevant to the location Providing information and assistance to clients, internal and external stakeholders and the public including the collation, review, and processing of applications Providing reception and telephone responses for the location. These positions are based at Hopkins Correctional Centre in regional Victoria and may require direct prisoner contact. The Justice Officer – Business Support team roster involves working weekdays, Monday through to Friday.

The ability to cooperate with others in pursuit of team goals while sharing information and acknowledging others' efforts. The ability to perform a range of tasks through digital tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 suite applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint).
