Enable more people to understand and experience the natural wonders of Victoria Play a strategic role in building partnerships with the community Use your influential leadership skills in a purpose-led environment About the role As Head of Partnerships, you will lead the direction, development, management and delivery of partnership programs to achieve health and wellbeing benefits for the community. This includes Parks Victoria's highly successful volunteering program and partnerships with the health and education industries. Leading a professional and high performing team, you will ensure Parks Victoria has the capability to plan for and implement longer-term strategic initiatives, deliver to ongoing operational requirements, and be equipped to respond to urgent and unforeseen circumstances.
About the Team The Visitor Experience Division delivers the Parks Victoria vision into nature to create a better Victoria. We are visitor-focussed in our approach: through our customer channels, community programs, stakeholder engagement and commercial activities, we are providing opportunities for all Victorians to experience nature. As part of the Visitor Experience Division, the Communications, Digital & Engagement directorate is dedicated to communicating, engaging, partnering, and influencing behaviours and attitudes toward environmental and cultural landscapes, and encouraging participation in nature-based experiences.
We're looking for someone with: An inspiring leader who lives and breathes nature and improving community outcomes Someone who thrives in navigating complexity, realising mutually beneficial outcomes Proven ability to lead the development and management of diverse and complex partnerships and programs across government, community groups and the private sector A relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification is desired along with industry qualification Previous extensive experience within a Public Sector or Service environment essential Your application will need to include: A Current Resume Application Close date: Sunday, 05 January 2025
