This Fixed Term Full-Time role offers hands-on experience through six-month rotations in multidisciplinary teams, guided by experienced psychologists, with a strong focus on supervision, professional development and self-care.
About the role Southwest Healthcare is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Psychology Graduate to join our 2025 Allied Health Graduate Program (AHGP). This role is designed to support your professional growth, with access to regular supervision, reflective practice, professional development, and self-care strategies. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based assessments and recovery-focused interventions alongside experienced psychologists. The program includes two 12-month rotations across diverse multidisciplinary teams, enhancing your clinical experience. One rotation in the Camperdown, Hamilton, or Portland campus is encouraged.
Full-Time (80 hours per fortnight), with a monthly ADO entitlement 24 months Fixed Term, commencing February 2025 Location: Warrnambool Campus This position is eligible for incentive payments covering rent, childcare, relocation costs, and more under the Workforce and Incentive Grants Program, administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
What you will bring: Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and a Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APAC-accredited program. A sound understanding of contemporary, evidence-based practices in mental health assessment, treatment, and care. Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 2014, is essential. Excellent written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.
